legal name louella selene lancaster stage name louella lancaster nickname(s) lou and elle occupation singer & song writer birth date 22 february 1993 birthplace austin, texas current residence nashville, tennesse relationship status unavailable family jeremy lancaster (father), penelope lancaster née moore (step-mother), edith edwards (mother), step-siblings
born in dallas, texas on an unusually stormy night, eleanor mae blackwood was welcomed (albeit begrudgingly by some of her older siblings) into a family of five, including her mother. her father left not long after her birth, men rarely sticking around that long in the blackwood coven. she was raised by her mother and older sisters, who could fight at the drop of hat, protect each other with the fierceness of a lion protecting her cub, and love each other through thick and thin.

even at a young age, ellie always had an excess of energy. when combined with her curiosity, it led to an interesting (and most often aggravating, at least for her caregivers) childhood. she always felt a dire need to try new things, get into new forms of trouble. she gave her mother hell, drove her sisters crazy, and made it extremely hard for her friends to keep up with her.

on her thirteenth birthday, this would all change. after a deal had gone bad with a group of vampires, ellie came home that night to find her mother and three of her sisters dead. the vampires were still feeding when she arrived, but instead of killing her, they kidnapped her. she didn't know that being alive could be worse than death. it wasn't until five days later that her oldest sister found her and rescued her. gone was the young, energetic, carefree little girl and her in place was an insecure, scared young woman.

for the next five years, ellie and her sister moved around. they knew they couldn't go home, there was no home without their family anyway, so they traveled around texas and oklahoma, never really daring to venture much further. ellie had to work long and hard to get past her anxiety and depression, and to this day, she still can't fall asleep without the lights on. but with the help of her sister, she worked through most of it. then, she just became angry. enraged. furious. resentful. after all the misery and sadness, there was just no more room for anything else but anger. at least until the day her sister disappeared. she fell back into a depression, unable to rest, unable to find peace. so she did the only thing she thought she could, she opened up her book of magic.

using a locater spell and a map, ellie found the closest werewolf to her location and cursed him into being her protector. her mother had always warned her about casting ancient spells. they were difficult to perform for an experienced witch, dangerous to perform for one as inexperienced as herself. those spells took a finesse she hadn't learned yet and there were always repercussions to using magic without fully understanding it first. but for ellie, desperate times called for desperate measures.

she woke the next morning after having blacked out from performing the spell with the runes of her mystic language burned into the skin of her left wrist. there was no erasing them, no turning back. she couldn't find anything even remotely similar to what had happened in the book of magic that was passed down between generations of witches. all she knew for certain was that something had changed; something was different about her. she wasn't as afraid anymore. she didn't feel as lost or alone as she did the night before.

and it was true, she wasn't alone any more. ellie had unintentionally bound herself to this werewolf, and she was feeding off some of his emotions. when she finally figured it out, she took off into the night and she's been running ever since. she was never the type of person for commitment. hell, everyone she ever loved, left her. being associated with her meant only one thing for the other person, death. it scared her more than anything else knowing that she was this deeply connected to someone, so until she could figure out how to reverse the spell, she was going to need her running shoes.

ellie knows when the werewolf is close. it's like someone is tugging on a rope that's wrapped around her wrist, drawing her in whatever direction they're in. she feels compelled to go to them, but she's become so finely in tune with the feeling that she knows the tingle at the base of her spine is her trigger to get the hell of out dodge. sometimes she can end up staying in one place for a long time; the longest she spent was a year in tuscon, arizona. other times, she's had to pack up and move in less than a week. running has been her life since she was eighteen. she's gotten pretty damn good at it.

there was no rhyme or reason to her going to louisiana, but for the past six months, ellie has created more of a life for herself there than anywhere else. she still has a backpack full of clothes and money stashed in a dark corner of her closet, but for whatever reason, she has less of an itch to grab for it. maybe that means her werewolf protector has finally given up on finding her, she's not sure, but new orleans could be her first chance at having a real home.

ellie currently runs a small shop, no bigger than a couple of square feet and in a seedier part of town, but it's her's. it's a known tourist attraction, what with her palm readings and tarot cards, but it's where people can come to her for other kinds of help. since moving to new orleans, she's found that there is a large number of supernatural population in the city and some of them require her supernatural abilities. she sets the price and they pay, it's good business. there's no telling what's in store of her, not even ellie can read her own future. but she's willing to stick it out, for the first time in a long time, to find out.

02. drinks tea, not coffee; loves take-out, especially if it's chienese; finds cooking to be very comforting, and lives to stress eat. she always tries out new recipes and then begrudgingly goes to the gym afterwards.
03. when her family passed away, she had a very rough time with it. she was kidnapped for five days, and though she's blocked out most of what happened, she knows that she was kept mostly in the dark. to this day, she has a terrible fear of the dark and has to keep the lights on at all times. she's also slightly claustrophobic.
04. she still suffers from severe post traumatic stress disorder and though she keeps it together fairly well - thanks to her sister, counseling, and a lot of soul searching - she is still prone to bouts of anxiety, depression, mood swings, and night terrors.
05. got her tattoo on her eighteenth birthday, and it is the astrological sign for pisces.

09. whiskey drinker, though she can't hold her alcohol to save her life, and bad karaoke singer, though she'll sing i'll always love you with the best of them. just be prepared to cover your ears and cringe.
10. recently found a love for tarot cards. it shouldn't be a surprise that her favorite card is the moon.

pisces: the fish
personality traits Pisces is the sign of mysticism, mystery, and the spiritual unknown. Pisces live in two worlds, the real world and the spiritual or mystical world where they interpret what they see into what they want. They do this to avoid all the realities of pain and suffering in the world. Most known for their escapist personalities, they will try to escape or avoid a situation instead of confronting it. They have extremes of emotions and feel both good and bad intensively. Pisces have formidable intuitive and psychic ability more then any other zodiac signs. They are very good at understanding people for they have the ability to delve into the psyche and see behind a person's motivations. They trust their gut feelings and if they do not, they quickly learn to because they realize that their hunches are usually correct. Pisces are not the pushovers that they may seem, in fact they have strength of character and will stand up for what they believe in and and they will do hard work for something they believe in.
positive qualities Intuitive, curious, caring, determined, dedicated, adaptable, loyal.
negative qualities Stubborn, curious, indecisive, unpredictable, escapist, fearful.
about the sign From February 20 to March 20. Pisces is the twelfth sign of the zodiac, and it is also the final sign in the zodiacal cycle. Hence, this sign brings together many of the characteristics of the eleven signs that have come before it. Represented by a pair of fish, this speaks to the duality of Pisces, their yin and yang sensibility and their ability to alternate between reality and non-reality. Pisces is ruled by Neptune and Jupiter, and the element associated with Pisces is water.
the pisces woman Spinning lazy circles around her latest conquest, acquisition, or interest, women born under the sign Pisces are mysterious and sensual with secrets kept secure behind inscrutable dark eyes. They have a vivid mind, and are romantic and spiritual. Like the rivers and seas this sign swims in, Piscean women have deep emotions and strong undertows in their personalities, so watch out for still waters - they often hide a passionate, sensitive nature.

Because they have such deep emotional connections with people and everything around them, Piscean women have to shiled themselves from empathic overload. Even though it's natural for them to feel so intensely, they can contain only so much emotion before it overwhelms them. Meditation comes easily to these women, so yoga and other practices that incorporate the union of their entire being will strengthen them against the flood of feelings they must weather throughout daily life.

In relationships, Piscean woman are captivating and charming, soft and feminine. The ultimate enchantresses. They have a strong need to be loved and guarded, and like everything else, tend to feel everything to the extreme. So even if they are being slightly neglected, they can still feel very hurt. No one fully understands a Piscean woman, you only get a glimpse of what she wants you to see and hides the rest from curious eyes. Females born under this sign don't have to make any extra efforts to attract members of the opposite sex. Their emotional and compassionate nature easily attracts men to them, and they get all the attention they need.

However, this does not mean that Piscean women are weak. When in trouble, these women can surprise you with their inner strength. Negatively, they also have a quick temper that burns hot and bright, but as long as they are treated well, it usually does not surface. They can have the tendency to be very sarcastic and if spurned, they may leave forever. They do not like confrontation, they will simply disappear.
